It wouldn’t be summer without the help of our summer interns. This year we are fortunate enough to have three excellent interns, Dylan Sandow, Eli Cott, and Randy Miller, who have each contributed to important projects and brought great ideas and enthusiasm to their work at the Museum.
Dylan Sandow, Education Intern, is a rising senior at Sarah Lawrence College studying anthropology and art history. As part of the Education Team, Dylan has worked on school group workshops and at various outreach events, including Yonkers Pride.
Eli Cott, Development Intern, is a rising senior at Skidmore College studying English and arts administration. Returning to the HRM for a second year, Eli has continued his work in the Development Department, honing his skills in grant writing and corporate and individual membership cultivation.
Randy Miller, Development Intern, is a rising junior at the University of Pittsburgh, studying astronomy and physics, with minors in geology and theater arts. She is working on a variety of fundraising projects, researching potential funding opportunities for upcoming exhibitions, compiling museum data used in various grant proposals and inquiries, and helping with membership outreach.
As their internships come to an end within the next few weeks, we thank Dylan, Eli, and Randy for their invaluable work this summer and wish them the best of luck in the coming academic year!
The HRM’s 2024 summer internships have been made possible through support of the Association of Art Museum Directors and Sarah Lawrence College Office of Career Services, as well as the general support of those who contribute to the Hudson River Museum’s Annual Fund. These opportunities allow college students to gain mentorship and professional experience while making meaningful contributions to our Museum. To help support future internships and career development for college students, please consider making a contribution here.
